Playing with Autumn

This autumn/winter season I'm definitely set on browns and beiges mostly and my creativity seems a bit "hampered" when thinking about going for any other cromatic base :) Browns and Beiges just feel so warm and comfy, are just perfect for blondes or red heads and you can really be daring by combining them with colors like: electric or dark blue, orange, turquoise, green in order to create a sparkling contrast.
This is my last look with blonde hair for a while...I went for a change inspired by the amazing autumn colors :) Coming up soon!
Dress: Pull & Bear (a great birthday present, thanks Oni & Dana); sweater: Koton; clutch: H&M; gloves: Reserved; boots: Progetto Glam

Double Velvet & Rue du Pain

Seems like the bad weather has finally taken over and it's definitely getting chillier...I do not like :(
So, best thing to do now, is remember a great sunday at Rue du Pain (111-113 Floreasca), one of my favorite places in Bucharest. They have the most delicious pastry and an abosultely amazing shrimp soup, but you've gotta be lucky 'cause they ony have a soup a day and it's a lottery to catch this culinary materpiece :) If you've been there, you're definitely agreeing with me (!), if not, you've just gotta try it out!

After a delicious meal a walk was the next best thing on a perfect sunny day :)

Blazer: no name, got it a few years ago on my first trip to Rome, pants: Zara, striped top: H&M, clutch & orxford derbies: Vintage, owl necklace: Accesorize

Hugs,
Meelusha
P.S. This is one of the extremly rare occasions where you'll see me wearing pants!!! I'm definitely a dress addict!

Tweed and my French Bulldog

Once I layed my eyes on this cute sweater at Pull & Bear I just had to have it! French bulldogs are one of my favorite small breed dogs, with their gentle and happy attitude and the adorable "bat ears". So, after taking him home from the mall, I took my french bulldog with the hypnotic eyes out for a walk on the first occasion and he was definitely an eye catcher :)

Sweater: Pull& Bear, skirt: H&M, knee high socks: Pimkie, shoes: Graceland, jacket: vintage tweed, a gift from my mom, bag: Mango.

Sweet November in Lachatterie

Never loved autumn so much like this year...and never felt November was as sweet as it is now! The amazing weather this weekend kept us mostly out of the house, enjoying the sun and getting spoiled. We started Saturday with some jogging in the park and by enjoying a delicios meal at Rue du Pain (Floreasca 111-113). In the afternoon then, I attended the "Absolutely Fabulous" vintage & fashion fair at Margo Lounge. There I met the very sweet & talented Isabelle from Lachatterie (click on post title to go directly to her blog and get to know her work) and instantly fell in love with this cute, 50s inspired little dress she created! Thanks, Isabelle for this wonderful piece I call my own now... and I defnitely want more :)

On Sunday, I just had to take this cutie out for a walk and it was just the perfect day to wear it :)
Enjoy the shots!

So proud of my brother's art!

Hey Dears,

never got to write about my very talented brother so far and tell you how much I admire his art work!

On my birthday I got this wondeful painting as a present and I just love it! I adore the colors, the collage idea of it and of course the theme, as Marilyn is the ultimate diva of all times, if you ask me!

If you wish to own a beautiful painting by Alex, just drop me an e-mail and I'll make the connections :)
Enjoy :),

Birthday Girl ... and Birthday Glam

My baby took those pictures on my birthday before taking off to the party (waiting to post them for over one month now!)...Have them all in color as well, but somehow black&white and sepia give it a more glamourous touch! Am wearing Zara ankle boots, a CflUK corset and my handmade tulle skirt, that I love, love, love...

L.O.V.E. Darimeya

Darimeya is a pretty young UK fashion brand, founded in 2003 and at home in my no #1 favorite city in the world...London, of course (go to their web-site by clicking on the post tile).

I totally fell in love with this brand from the moment I discovered their site and I couldn't take my mind of those creations, especially the super cute dresses, with their unique prints and texture combinations. So...a few weeks ago, I placed my first order...and here they are my little Darimeya treasures :) The nutcracker dress was a bit too short for me and more of a blouse, so I added a brown velvet border and green ruffles, with the help of my talented mommy.

I still cannot decide witch one I love most...and can't wait to shop Darimeya again!

Hugs& Kisses,
Meelusha
